Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Transitional Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our Department of Newborn Care.
Where you'll be working
The Department of Newborn Care is responsible for providing care for approximately 5,000 newborns at RPAH each year. This care occurs within the neonatal unit, through outpatient clinics and on the postnatal wards.
RPAH is one of Australia's leading tertiary and quaternary healthcare facilities and a major teaching and research hospital. Known for it's commitment to excellence in clinical care, education, research, and innovation, RPAH provides an exciting environment for nurses to develop their expertise and contribute to high-quality, patient centred care.
What you'll be doing
You will work collaboratively with medical and nursing teams to provide high-level clinical care to newborns and their families. You will have the opportunity to develop advanced clinical practice, leadership, education and mentoring skills within a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 include:
Participates in formal processes for the strategic and operational planning for the clinical service.
