Aztech Services is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. If you know asbestos, enjoy working with clients, and thrive on putting together winning tenders, we'd love to hear from you.

This isn't just a desk job. You'll be out on site, meeting clients, developing scopes, pricing projects and helping secure work across a diverse range of hazardous materials and demolition projects.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct site inspections and assess project requirements

• Interpret asbestos registers and hazardous materials surveys

• Prepare accurate labour, plant, material and subcontractor estimates

• Develop scopes of work and project methodologies

• Read and interpret architectural, structural and services drawings

• Prepare tender submissions, clarifications and pricing proposals

• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors

• Attend client meetings and confidently represent the business

• Support project handovers to ensure successful delivery

What you'll bring

• Experience estimating or managing projects within the hazardous materials industry

• Strong knowledge of friable and non-friable asbestos removal

• A commercial mindset with the ability to balance risk, cost and opportunity

• Confidence communicating with clients and key stakeholders

• Strong understanding of containment, decontamination and waste disposal requirements

• Experience reviewing subcontractor pricing and negotiating where required

• Solid Microsoft Excel skills

• The ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team

Desirable

• 5+ years' estimating experience.

• Knowledge of demolition and strip-out methodologies.

• Experience pricing variations and reviewing contracts.

• Familiarity with older building structures.
