Mechanic

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic at GCE Automotive, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles. Working in our modern, well-equipped workshop, you'll deliver quality workmanship while being supported by strong systems and a collaborative team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults

• General servicing and maintenance

• Brake, steering and suspension repairs

• Cooling system repairs

• Timing belt and major mechanical repairs

• Using scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults

• Completing vehicle inspections and reporting recommended repairs

• Performing road tests where required

• Maintaining accurate job records and following workshop procedures

• Working safely and contributing to a clean, organised workshop

You'll have the opportunity to broaden your skills in auto electrical and air conditioning work alongside experienced technicians.
