Project Engineer

The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking a Project Engineer to join our wastewater team based in Rocklea 4106.
In this role, you'll manage allocated projects from conception to completion, ensuring we consistently achieve time, cost, and quality objectives. You'll be the key point of contact for customers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers, solving technical challenges and driving business growth through exceptional project delivery.

What you’ll be responsible for
Driving work progress and completion under set project targets including cost, time and quality.Prepare project documentation, including reports and other information to required standardsSolve technical problems related to project planning, delivery, field work, and project dataEnsure projects comply with contractual requirements and manage variations accordinglyEstablish project priorities and communicate these frequently to stakeholdersManage key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of prioritiesConduct quality assurance and control across all deliverablesLiaise with customers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout project deliveryMaintain project data in Asset Management and Mapping SystemsChampion WHSEQ policies and the Always Safe Charter
What You’ll Need to be Successful
Undergraduate Degree or higher in mechanical, civil or water engineeringExperience with stormwater, water or wastewater networks, preferredUnderstanding of project delivery with emphasis on cost control, sub-contractor management, quality assurance and data management.
