About the role
Work with industry professionals, not the general public.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile Mechanic to join our growing operation, providing specialist mechanical services exclusively to panel shops and insurance partners.
This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working independently, producing accurate, high-quality work in a professional environment.
This is not a retail service position. There is no direct public customer work or routine servicing.
As a Mobile Mechanic, you will attend panel repair facilities and industry partners to carry out vehicle diagnostics, inspections, mechanical assessments and repairs associated with collision repair processes.
You will work autonomously while maintaining strong relationships with repairers and insurance partners.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Professional presentation and a solutions-focused attitude.
Ability to produce clear, accurate reports and documentation.
Diagnose mechanical and electronic vehicle faults.
Perform mechanical repairs associated with collision-damaged vehicles.
Conduct vehicle inspections and assessments.
Complete detailed inspection reports and supporting documentation.
Liaise professionally with insurance assessors, panel shop, estimators, managers, workshop controllers.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Manage daily schedules and travel between workshop locations.
Qualified Automotive Technician/Mechanic.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Advanced diagnostic experience across multiple vehicle manufacturers.
Experience using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Good knowledge of word and adobe programs.
