The Opportunity
Duties
We are looking for an enthusiastic Legal Secretary to join our Police team, which sits within our busy Government Division. This is a full-time role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment which will see you providing support and assistance to multiple authors across a diverse range of secretarial and administrative duties including:
Assisting with preparation of court documentsDrafting correspondenceFile and matter managementDiary management and arranging appointmentsCoordinating travel arrangementsTime entry and monthly billingClient reporting; andGeneral administrative duties.
Skills And Experience
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or within a litigation practicePrevious experience supporting fee earners at all levelsExperience using iManage and Aderant preferred but not essentialExcellent attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasksExcellent client service skillsAbility to work independently and part of a teamAbility to draft correspondence and documents; andStrong Microsoft Office skills.
