About The Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead one of the most important teams in our growing organisation.

As our first Care Consultation Manager, you'll lead our national team of phone and field-based Care Consultants, supporting people and families as they navigate one of life's biggest decisions - choosing the right care and support to remain living independently at home.

While you'll be responsible for driving growth outcomes, success really comes through coaching people to have better conversations, building trust with clients, and ensuring every recommendation is grounded in genuine care, empathy and expertise. You'll help shape a best-practice care consultation approach, develop a team of high-performing consultants, and strengthen the systems, processes and operating rhythms that support sustainable growth.

Working closely with both Growth and Operations leaders, you'll play a key role in ensuring every client's journey is seamless - from their first enquiry through to service commencement.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching and developing a national team of phone and field-based Care Consultants.
• Embedding a consistent, client-first care consultation approach grounded in trust, empathy and advocacy.
• Driving growth and conversion outcomes through coaching, capability building and continuous improvement.
• Supporting consultants in navigating complex client needs and delivering expert guidance.
• Strengthening and streamlining intake-to-service processes to create a seamless client experience.
• Using data, insights and reporting to identify opportunities, remove barriers and improve performance.
• Building strong partnerships across Growth, Operations and other key stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
• Championing a high-performance, values-led culture while developing future capability and leadership within the team.

Location: This role is based in Melbourne. You can work from any of our offices -Tullamarine, Balaclava or Carrum Downs, with travel to each site as required and flexibility to work from home.

About You

You're an experienced and people-focused leader who knows how to create high-performing teams without losing sight of the human impact behind the work. You bring a strong coaching mindset, commercial acumen and the ability to build trust quickly with both clients and colleagues.

You may have led sales, advisory, intake, customer experience or care consultation teams previously, and you're energised by helping others grow, improving the way things work, and creating consistently great experiences. You're comfortable balancing performance targets with empathy and know that the best outcomes come from understanding people's needs and guiding them with confidence.

Our ideal candidate will also bring:

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a sales, consultation, advisory, intake or client-facing environment.
• A strong track record of coaching and developing people to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Experience driving operational improvement, performance uplift and sustainable growth.
• The ability to influence, collaborate and build credibility across a broad range of stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgement combined with a genuine commitment to client outcomes.
• High emotional intelligence, resilience and a values-led approach to leadership.
• Experience in aged care, disability, healthcare or another consultative service environment will be highly regarded.
