About the role
About us
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic HR and PALM Administrator to join a high performing company based in Dandenong.
Australian Meat Group is a meat processing and export business dedicated to the concept of excellence to deliver the highest standard in every aspect.
Provide general HR administrative support, maintain employee records and update HR systems (Humanforce and Payroll Metrics).
Coordinate recruitment and onboarding, including: job advertisements, reference checks, pre-employment documentation, VEVO checks, Q Fever vaccination appointments and employee setup.
Maintain audits for worker's visa, working rights and compliance documentation, with follow up on outstanding requirements.
Maintain recruitment job advertisement due dates and requirement.
Assist with absenteeism, return-to-work documentation, basic payroll queries, and preparation of employee grievance statements and outcome reports.
Prepare employment contracts, certificates, HR letters and meeting notifications, including casual-to-full-time conversions.
Manage Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) administration and compliance using PALMIS System, including: employment, incident reporting, accommodation, and welfare check.
Track PALM accommodation upcoming due dates, including: inspections, lease agreements and utility.
Strong administration, data-entry and attention to detail.
Excellent organisation, time management and ability to prioritise.
Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook.
Proactive, reliable and able to take ownership of tasks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
Ability to build positive relationships with employees and departments.
Previous HR administration experience is advantageous.
HR qualification is advantageous.
