Retail Manager - Hamilton

About the role

You'll combine high-level client service, bullion and precious metals transactions, secure vault operations, and broader operational support, working across Imperial Bullion and Imperial Vaults at Imperial Group's flagship Hamilton facility and Head Office. This role offers genuine scope to progress into senior client services, operational, or management responsibility as the Group continues to expands.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to Imperial Bullion and Imperial Vaults clients, in person, by phone, and across other channels

• Facilitate the purchase and sale of gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metals, including appraisals and second-hand metal purchases

• Operate precious metals testing equipment (XRF, scales, magnets) accurately and safely

• Assist with vault client onboarding, box administration, and secure storage operations, following strict identification and security procedures

• Maintain accurate vault, bullion, and transaction records with a high standard of confidentiality

• Support inventory control, stock reconciliation, and operational reporting

• Maintain the presentation and security standards expected of Imperial's flagship location

• Work closely with Hamilton management and Head Office, taking ownership of tasks and contributing to a high-performance team culture

About you

• Experience in client services, sales, banking, financial services, luxury retail, or another high-trust environment

• High personal integrity, discretion, and attention to detail

• Confident communicator, comfortable building relationships with a broad client base including high-net-worth individuals

• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly

• Experience in bullion, jewellery, banking, or secure storage highly regarded but not essential
