About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to appoint to a fixed-term, full-time State Contract Manager position that is available with the Intensive Care Unit Electronic Medical Record project. 

The State Contract Manager Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is responsible for overseeing all contractual aspects of the statewide ICU EMR system. This includes providing expert advice on service delivery, performance, and outcomes, and ensuring that contract obligations are met in alignment with government priorities and health service requirements. The role involves managing relationships with service providers, negotiating service specifications, and implementing contract management strategies, including variations, extensions, and dispute resolution. It also includes acting as the State Representative in contractual matters, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and facilitating communication between stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include monitoring contract performance through data analysis, financial reporting, and evaluation of key performance indicators. The role supports service delivery improvements, ensures value for money, and promotes safety and quality standards. It also involves initiating audits and evaluations, advising on pricing arrangements, and leading governance activities related to the ICU-EMR contract. The position demands strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, along with experience in managing complex contracts within a public health context.
