About the Role

An exciting career opportunity exists for a highly motivated & proactive Chefs & Cooks.

Responsibilities include; preparing and serving meals and packing down and cleaning the kitchen after the preparation and service. The successful applicant will be confident in their skills, motivated to perform and will need to demonstrate:

• Experience working in a hands-on bistro style kitchen

• Uncompromising attitude towards high food quality, presentation and safety

• Strong communication skills and a grace under pressure, and

• Excellent planning skills and the ability to think on your feet

• Willingness to learn all sections in the kitchen (grill, fryers, larder) is ideal, with motivation to grow their skills and career

• Flexible availability required, variety of day, night, weekend and split shifts.

• Have knowledge and understanding of HACCP and OH&S

• Hold relevant Certificate III cookery qualifications and previous experience in a similar role.

Salary
Full-time hours across a rotating roster, with a salary range between $70,000-79,500
