Child Youth Mental Health Services are on the lookout for a Senior Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Clinical Nurse Consultant to join the Early Psychosis Team.
This unique opportunity gives you the chance to support children and young people with severe and complex mental health needs, with a strong focus on early psychosis, recovery and hope. • Share the knowledge. Support and mentor the wider team, provide supervision to students and use your clinical judgement to navigate a complex, ever-changing mental health landscape.

• 🧠Have the relevant qualifications and registration, plus experience in youth mental health, early intervention, psychosis and complex presentations. Postgraduate qualifications and ACMHN Credentialing/AMHP status are highly desirable—or be ready to work towards them.
• 💬Know how to build genuine therapeutic relationships with young people and families, including those who are harder to reach, while delivering developmentally appropriate and evidence-based care.
• 🌀Bring flexibility, creativity, resilience and sound clinical judgement, with the confidence to navigate complexity, uncertainty and changing needs.
• 🚀Contribute ideas, lead improvement initiatives, share your expertise and support colleagues, while delivering culturally responsive care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally diverse young people and families.

Mental Health Clinicians

Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:

• Occupational Therapy
• Psychology
• Social Work
• Registered Nurse (if applicable)

Total remuneration value of up to $174,208 p.a. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $70.92 - $77.00 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
