About the role
STACK Infrastructure builds, owns, and operates hyperscale and colocation data centers that power the world’s most ambitious technology companies. With a rapidly expanding footprint across APAC, STACK combines deep development expertise, flexible capital, and operational discipline to deliver critical digital infrastructure at scale.
Our clients include the largest hyperscale cloud platforms. We are building a regional platform defined by speed of delivery, power reliability, and long-term partnership — and we are assembling the team to lead that effort.
The Summary:
We are seeking a transformational Head of IT (APAC) to define and lead our regional IT strategy, with cybersecurity, resilience and scalability at its core. Combining strategic leadership with a hands-on approach when required, this role will lead Corporate IT across enterprise systems, workplace technology, infrastructure and digital platforms, ensuring technology effectively supports business growth, operations and customer commitments.
The Head of IT will work closely with the Operational Technology (OT) function, maintaining clear ownership boundaries while ensuring strong alignment across shared areas including architecture, connectivity, cybersecurity, identity and access, data and resilience.
This role will also drive the practical adoption of AI, automation and advanced analytics to improve productivity, operational efficiency and decision-making. Working in partnership with functional leaders across APAC, the Head of IT will deliver a secure, standardised and high-performing technology environment that enables scalable growth and operational excellence. This role reports to the MD (ANZ) and supervises the Corporate IT team directly.

Drive regional technology standardisation, governance and an operating model that supports continued growth.
Establish clear performance measures and provide visibility of IT performance, risks and priorities.
Maintain sufficient technical depth to provide hands-on leadership and support when required.
Cybersecurity, Risk & Resilience
Own the APAC Corporate IT cybersecurity strategy, framework and risk management programme.
Strengthen security across identity and access, endpoints, networks, cloud, data, vulnerabilities and third-party services.

Partner with OT to manage cybersecurity risks across IT/OT interfaces, maintaining clear ownership boundaries and effective governance, escalation and incident response.
Drive cybersecurity awareness and ensure alignment with relevant regulatory, customer and industry requirements.

IT Operations, Systems & Digital Platforms
Lead reliable, secure and responsive Corporate IT services across infrastructure, cloud, workplace technology and enterprise applications.
Drive standardisation, integration and modernisation of technology platforms while reducing complexity and technical debt.
Establish effective service management and ensure critical technology issues are appropriately managed and resolved.
Support new offices, data centre developments and business expansion with scalable technology solutions.
Partner with OT where Corporate IT and operational environments interface, ensuring appropriate connectivity, integration, security and governance while maintaining clear system ownership.
Oversee the design, deployment and lifecycle management of Corporate IT infrastructure, hardware and software, including upgrades, migrations and multi-site network environments.
Establish effective IT asset and configuration lifecycle controls, including accurate inventories and CMDB records, ownership, warranty and renewal planning, licensing and critical spares where appropriate.
Technology Transformation & Innovation
Lead regional IT transformation initiatives to modernise platforms, improve capability and enable scalable growth.
Identify and adopt emerging technologies that deliver meaningful business and operational value.
Drive the practical adoption of AI, automation and advanced analytics to improve productivity, efficiency and decision-making.
Enable greater use of data through clear data governance, integrated platforms and improved data accessibility, quality, ownership and access controls.
Foster continuous improvement and innovation while ensuring appropriate security, governance and risk controls.
Technology Governance, Investment & Vendors
Establish and maintain effective governance across technology standards, architecture, cybersecurity, investment and project delivery.
Own the regional Corporate IT budget, ensuring investments are prioritised and deliver measurable business value.
Manage strategic technology vendors and partners, including performance, commercial outcomes, security and risk.
Optimise technology platforms, vendors and licensing to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, privacy, contractual and customer technology requirements.
Leadership & Business Partnership
Build and lead a high-performing, commercially minded and service-oriented regional IT function.
Partner with functional leaders to align technology priorities with business, operational and customer requirements.
Maintain a strong partnership with OT leadership, recognising OT's ownership of operational technology and control systems, while ensuring effective governance of shared IT/OT dependencies and risks.
Communicate technology and cybersecurity priorities, risks and opportunities effectively to senior leadership.
Lead technology-enabled change and foster a culture of ownership, innovation and continuous improvement.
