Cyber Incident Manager

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing cyber incidents from triage through to resolution.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients during an incident.
• Coordinating technical specialists, investigators and support teams to ensure actions are completed.
• Leading incident calls and stakeholder meetings.
• Managing action plans, timelines, priorities and deliverables.
• Providing regular updates to clients, insurers, legal counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Translating technical information into clear business-focused communication.
• Working closely with executives and senior leaders to support decision making.
• Maintaining incident records, reports and documentation.
• Supporting lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.
• Building trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Identifying risks, issues and opportunities for improvement throughout the incident lifecycle.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence speaking with people at all levels, including CEOs, CFOs, General Managers, IT Managers and business owners.
• Strong decision-making skills and the confidence to make recommendations and stand behind them.
• Strong project coordination or project management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
• Strong written communication and report-writing skills.
• Professional judgement and problem-solving ability.
• Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Experience in incident management, project management, operations, client service, consulting or professional services environments.
• Experience coordinating complex projects or stakeholder groups.
• Cybersecurity knowledge is beneficial but not required.
• Experience working in insurance, legal, technology or risk-related industries.
