• Experience repairing quarry fixed and mobile plant
• Be proficient in various welding application including – Arc, Mig, Wire feed etc
• Be proficient in all forms of oxy acetylene cutting and braising
• Good understanding of different steel properties/functions
• Be prepared to travel predominantly within the Pilbara region to service our quarry and concrete operations
• Have a strong understanding and commitment to OH&S
• Ability to work independently
• An excellent mechanical aptitude
• Sound problem solving and decision-making skills

The successful Fitter candidates will need to have a minimum of 5 years experience working on Elevated work platforms, AWP, Boom lift, Scissor Lift, Forklift, telehandler, CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, earth moving vehicles etc. Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts
• Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on reverse osmosis units, pumps, valves, piping systems, water monitoring equipment and all auxiliary equipment as required
• Complies with applicable Safety, Environment, Health, and Waste Management policies and procedures
• Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
• Monitors and performs preventive maintenance on waste heat recovery system and components
• Perform machine operations, servicing and engine overhauls
• Performing schedule maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollutions regulations
• Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
• Diagnosing and testing parts with assistance of computer

Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year (commensurate to skills and experience) Required for an immediate start. Weekly Payroll! Super paid on all hours!
