Welder / Fabricator

This permanent, full-time position is great for someone seeking long term employment within a business creating fresh new designs within the 4WD industry.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for manufacturing a variety of products such as bull bars, rear bars and rock sliders.

You duties will include:

• Perform MIG welding and general fabrication using hand and power tools.

• Use power tools to grind and finish products to a high standard.

• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Contribute and follow the safe and efficient operation of the workshop.

About you:

• Proven experience with MIG welding in a production or fabrication environment.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality of finished products.

• Familiarity with power tools and basic fabrication equipment.

• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for periods at a time and lift heavy materials (such as jigs).

• Positive attitude.

• Mechanically minded.

• Welding certifications, advantageous but not required.

• Current forklift licence.

• Reliable transport.

• Interest in 4WD community and hobbies is advantageous.

You must also be willing to carry out a weld test and a grinding test prior to employment.

*Unfortunately we are not looking for apprentices at this point in time.
