Senior Accountant / ERP Implementation

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to lead our ERP implementation project in Mount Lawley, Western Australia. This permanent, full-time role is crucial for enhancing our financial processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accountancy and ERP systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of ERP systems, ensuring alignment with accounting practices and business needs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy.
• Provide training and support to staff on ERP functionalities and accounting procedures.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and reporting findings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on ERP implementation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
