Registered Nurse

Garden View Aged Care Pty Ltd is a family-owned residential aged care facility that has operated for 30 years. We focus on fostering respectful relationships and rapport with our clients. Adopting a partnership approach, with an understanding and nurturing attitude, the team work to flexibly alter care based on feedback and suggestions. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team.

- Prepare high-quality care plans and assessments, provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly residents according to established nursing standards and practices.

- Ensure safe medication administration, best practice wound care and clinical support for our residents, in line with resident needs and legislative requirements.

- Support health promotion and aid in illness prevention through educational activities and wellness initiatives.

- Provide clear explanations and information to residents and their families regarding treatment options and care.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and team members to coordinate resident care.

- Supervise and manage a care team to deliver the highest quality, person-first, care to our residents.

- Engage in handovers with the Care Team to ensure continuity of care across shifts.

- Adhere to all relevant legislative requirements and quality guidelines skills and experience

- Work night shifts only as required by the roster and operational needs.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)

• Bachelor degree or higher qualification

• Minimum 1 year of experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting

• Strong clinical knowledge and evidence-based nursing skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, resident-focused approach

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

• Commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of care

• You must be An Australian Citizen or Permanent Residents to apply

• A current National Police Check is required for this position
