Learn a New Trade - Passive Fire Protection Experts - IMMEDIATE START

BOWSERS is a long established contracting company working in the Passive Fire Industry. We have offices in Matraville (NSW) and Ormeau (QLD). We work day in and day out with experienced building, construction, and engineering professionals to deliver specialist passive fire protection services. Our projects are across a range of settings including hotels, offices, industrial, education, retail, aged care, child care and residential.

As an approved Standard Business Sponsor (SBS), we have fostered a strong team of both local and overseas technicians and we currently have a number of full time positions open for practical people who are keen to learn on the job, working as a valued member of our highly experienced NSW Site Team.

What will you do?

* Work safely and productively in teams of 2 or more under the guidance of a team leader and supervisor.

* Learn on the job how to repair and install passive fire systems (fire dampers & fire seals) with a focus on quality and compliance.

* Develop a new skillset in a supportive company that provides opportunity for growth and career progression.

What we are looking for

* Safety focused, practical people who are keen to learn a new skill.

* Good communicators that can work as part of a team to deliver projects on time

* Ability to work overtime and Saturdays

* Ability to travel to and from jobs within the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas.

* Trade experience is not required, yet would put you in a strong position if applying for this role.

Remuneration

Successful applicants will be paid under our Enterprise Agreement based on their skills and experience. This includes, but is not limited to, a competitive hourly rate, productivity allowances, and travel allowances
