Apprentice Carpenter

About the role

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you'll work alongside experienced Qualified Carpenters and Tradespeople, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of residential renovation projects. This role suits someone who is professional, organised and confident in supporting the team, with a strong willingness to learn and grow as a First or Second-Year Apprentice Carpenter.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with carpentry tasks and general site duties
• Learning renovation processes from demolition through to finishing
• Using tools and equipment safely and confidently
• Supporting tradespeople with day-to-day tasks
• Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas
• Following instructions and contributing positively to the team
• Communicating respectfully with clients, suppliers and co-workers

About you

• Holds a current driver's licence, either probationary or open
• Shows initiative and a willingness to learn
• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Communicates clearly and respectfully
• Can follow instructions and ask questions when needed
• Works well in a team environment
• Takes pride in producing quality work
• Is reliable, punctual and committed to their apprenticeship
• Has a practical mindset and enjoys hands-on tasks
• Previous construction experience is helpful but not essential
