Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for immunisation, communicable disease control and public health nursing? Central Coast Local Health District is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 – Public Health to join our team.

About the Opportunity

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 – Public Health, you will play a key leadership role in the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based immunisation programs and communicable disease control initiatives.

This position plays a key role in providing clinical leadership and expertise in immunisation and communicable disease control to promote safe, evidence-based, high-quality public health care across the Central Coast. In this role you will:

• Provide expert clinical leadership in immunisation and communicable disease control.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care to children, families and the community.
• Mentor, educate and support staff to strengthen clinical practice and capability.
• Drive quality improvement and service development across Public Health programs.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and clinical experience.
• Accredited Authorised Immuniser status and demonstrated expertise in safe, high-quality immunisation practice.
• Strong clinical leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, educate and support nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
• A commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement, with a drive to lead positive change in Public Health.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and digital health skills, together with a current NSW Driver’s Licence.
