Experienced accounts payable officer

Kuatro Build is a mid-sized construction company with its Head Office located in North Sydney.

We are seeking an experienced accounts payable officer to join our construction team based on site in the Southern Highlands district (Bowral).  

The opportunity is immediately available and is a full-time role

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·         Invoice Processing: Code high-volume supplier and subcontractor invoices in the accounting system. Check quantities, rates, variations, retention, GST.

·         Purchase order administration: Raise POs for materials, plant hire, subcontractor works. Track PO status and maintain PO register for site management.

·         Matching Orders: Match invoices with POs, delivery dockets (collect from site crew), and site manager approvals.

·         Cost Tracking: Allocate costs correctly to specific project codes and job numbers.

·         Admin work: Documentation maintenance such as printing, scanning, photocopying.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·         Experience: Two or more years in accounts payable, ideally within construction, engineering, or trades.

·         Software Skills: Proficiency in Jobpac and Payapps. Intermediate excel skills for spreadsheet maintenance. 

·         Data Entry: Strong numerical accuracy and high-volume data entry skills.

·         Communication: Clear communication to deal with suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers.

·         Organisation: Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced site environment.

·         Eligibility: Must be an Australian citizen.
