The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) is the national regulator of charities, and we maintain a free online searchable register of charity information.

We assess new applications for registration, provide guidance and resources to promote good charity governance, and help charities meet their obligations. We also investigate concerns, taking action where necessary.

About the role

As an IT Helpdesk Support Officer, you will provide frontline ICT support, assisting users with technical issues, service requests and access to the systems they rely on every day. You will help deliver secure, reliable and effective digital services through strong customer service and collaboration. 

Your duties

• Support the deployment, maintenance and ongoing operation of ICT equipment and services
• Troubleshoot technical issues and restore services for users
• Work closely with users, service desk staff and technical teams, escalating complex issues when required
• Maintain accurate documentation and support IT service delivery

Skills and experience

• Experience in ICT helpdesk support or end-user support within a Microsoft 365 environment
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in ICT environments
• Communication skills and customer service experience
• Manages competing priorities and works collaboratively
