Counter Sales / Yard Person (Ormeau)

Nuway Landscape Supplies, Queensland largest landscape supplies chain is now looking for Counter Sales/Yard person at our Ormeau store.

In this role, you’ll be the face of Nuway — greeting customers, processing sales, providing advice on our product range, and ensuring every customer leaves with a great experience.

Candidates must be reliable and punctual and committed to providing high levels of customer service. This position requires physical labour so candidates must be keen and energetic.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the sales counter and assist with product enquiries

• Process Sales/Orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems

• Load and unload material safely in yard using Loader and Forklift

• Keep yard/sales area tidy, safe, and well-presented to be WHS compliant

• Assist with stock deliveries and product replenishment

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in retail, trade, or landscape supplies (preferred but not essential)

• Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential ( however willingness to obtain within 6 weeks of commencement)

• Front End Loader License highly regarded but not essential ( however willingness to obtain within 6 weeks of commencement)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, punctual, and ready to pitch in wherever needed

• Flexibility to work weekdays and work one weekend a fortnight.

  Hours variable depending on store requirements - approx 20-40 hours a week
  Roster includes working every second weekend.
