Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) - Educator

Redeemer Lutheran College is a leading co-educational Christian College nestled on 40 acres in Rochedale on Brisbane’s southside. With separate Junior and Senior Schools, modern learning spaces and an onsite Chapel. The College is situated in Rochedale, approximately 20km from the Brisbane CBD and 55km from the Gold Coast and is easily accessible via the Pacific Highway and Gateway Motorway.

Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking enthusiastic and caring Casual OSHC Educators to join our team (immediate start is available). Enjoy flexible work with 2–4 shifts per week during school term and 4–5 shifts per week during vacation care periods.

About the Role

This is a rewarding, hands-on role where you’ll help create a safe, fun and engaging environment for children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the care and supervision of children in our OSHC program

• Assisting with planning and delivering engaging activities

• Completing program documentation and reports

• Actively engaging and interacting with children

• Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment

• Ensuring duty of care, including managing medical needs and authorised collections

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Cert III, Diploma, or relevant ACECQA-approved qualification (or currently studying)

• A current paid Blue Card

• First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management (HLTAID012) (or willingness to obtain)

• A fantastic sense of fun and tremendous imagination with a passion for working with children

• Desirable: Previous OSHC experience
