Quarry Mobile Plant Operator

About the role

Gunlake is seeking skilled Quarry Mobile Plant Operators to join our team in Marulan, NSW. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various mobile plant equipment used in our quarry operations. Opportunities exist for both dayshift and nightshift.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and maintain a range of mobile plant equipment, including excavators, loaders, dozers and dump trucks

• Carry out pre-start checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quarry operations

• Work collaboratively with the wider quarry team to achieve production targets

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience in the operation of mobile plant equipment in a quarry or construction environment

• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and the ability to follow instructions.

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
