Assistant Nurse Unit Manager - Surgical

Mitcham Private Hospital is a fully accredited, 121 bed acute medical, surgical, maternity and mental health facility, providing for the healthcare needs of Melbourne’s outer eastern communities. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to lead our wonderful Surgical and Paediatrics ward. This is a permanent part-time opportunity (57hrs/fortnight) covering night duties.

What we're looking for

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum five (5) years’ recent experience working in an acute setting 
• Acute Surgical or Paediatrics experience is advantageous but not essential
• Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
• Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development
