Housekeeping Supervisor (contractor)

About Us

Norfolks on Moffat Beach is a well-established boutique accommodation property renowned for providing guests with a clean, comfortable and welcoming experience.

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping operations and ensure our high presentation standards are maintained every day.

This is a contractor opportunity offering ongoing, consistent work and the chance to take ownership of the housekeeping function.

About the Role

Reporting directly to management, you will be responsible for ensuring every guest arrives to an immaculately presented room while leading and supporting the housekeeping team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Recruiting suitable housekeeping staff as required.
• Training team members to meet our housekeeping standards.
• Supervising and coordinating daily housekeeping operations.
• Conducting quality inspections of completed rooms.
• Preparing daily work schedules and allocating tasks.
• Ensuring rooms are guest-ready within required timeframes.
• Monitoring housekeeping supplies and reporting maintenance issues.
• Working closely with management to continually improve guest satisfaction.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience supervising housekeeping within a hotel, motel, serviced apartment or holiday accommodation environment.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• The ability to train, motivate and support others.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership.
• A current driver's licence and reliable transport.

Experience equivalent to a Guest Services Supervisor (Hospitality Industry – Level 5) is highly regarded, including responsibility for supervising, training and coordinating employees engaged in a housekeeping environment.
