JR0000017209 - Research Fellow in Gastrointestinal Health
About the Role
Join the Bowel Health Service within the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer and play a key role in advancing innovative research that improves gastrointestinal health and colorectal cancer prevention. Working closely with the Chief Investigator and a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of impactful research projects, while building collaborations with academic, clinical and industry partners. This role offers the opportunity to lead elements of complex research programs, publish high-quality outcomes, support research funding applications, and mentor emerging researchers.
This position makes a significant contribution to Flinders University's vision of changing 10 million lives through Every One Matters by 2035, through directly contributing to the strategic driver of Research that Matters, advancing innovative gastrointestinal health research that improves health outcomes, strengthens research partnerships, and generates evidence that informs clinical practice and policy.
About You
You are a motivated and collaborative researcher with a strong track record of delivering high-quality health research and translating findings into meaningful outcomes. With expertise in clinical or public health research methodologies, including leading clinical trials and cohort studies, you are experienced in the collection and management of clinical, health and risk factor data, confident working with complex datasets, developing publications and funding applications, and building productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You thrive in a team environment while demonstrating the initiative and independence required to drive research projects forward.
