Field Service Fitter - Mobile Plant Equipment

As our NSW operations continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Field Service Fitter to join our Unanderra-based service team.

This is a varied, hands-on role working on mobile crushing and screening equipment across customer sites and in the workshop when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs on mobile plant

• Diagnosing faults across hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems

• Removing and replacing major components

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections and commissioning new equipment

• Preparing machinery for delivery and customer handover

• Accurately completing service reports and job documentation

• Working safely and professionally at customer sites

What We’re Looking For

• A relevant trade qualification, such as Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, Diesel/Plant Mechanic or equivalent

• At least five years’ post-trade experience

• Strong experience working with heavy mobile plant or material processing equipment

• Sound hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

• Crushing and screening experience will be highly regarded

• A current forklift licence

• A strong commitment to safe work practices

You’re a capable and reliable tradesperson who is comfortable working independently in the field. You take ownership of your work, communicate well with customers and enjoy the variety and problem-solving that come with a field service role.

You’ll also be supported by an experienced team when you need technical assistance or advice.
