Are you passionate about luxury timepieces and delivering exceptional client experiences? We are seeking a highly motivated Watch Adviser to join our team at a high-end watch boutique Melbourne CBD location. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized, high-level advice on luxury and premium watches.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable watches based on style, budget, occasion and collecting interests.

• Conduct sales consultations from initial enquiry through to final purchase.

• Negotiate confidently and professionally, balancing customer expectations with company pricing, margins and commercial objectives.

• Handle objections and close sales while maintaining a premium customer experience.

• Develop repeat business and generate referrals through exceptional client service.

• Maintain strong product knowledge across brands, models, movements, complications and market trends.

• Stay informed about current watch values, demand, availability and collector preferences.

• Assist with stock presentation, merchandising and showroom standards.

• Accurately manage customer enquiries, sales documentation and follow-up activities.

• Work collaboratively with the wider sales and management team to achieve business objectives.

Requirements & Capabilities:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a retail environment (preferred).

• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster including weekends.

• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a desire to grow within the business.

• Fluency in English is required. Mandarin language skills will be highly regarded and considered an advantage.

• Previous experience in luxury retail, watches, jewellery, automotive, high-end sales or a similar client-focused environment.

• A genuine passion for watches and the luxury industry.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong negotiation and objection-handling abilities.

• Confidence discussing pricing and value with discerning customers.

• A proven ability to convert enquiries into sales.

• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of margins and profitability.

• A polished, professional and trustworthy presentation.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• The ability to build genuine relationships rather than simply transact.
