Loader Operator - Mt Isa Local

NW Mining & Civil are seeking a loader operator for a long term role at a mine site south of Mt Isa.

You will be operating a Cat 980 loader to load tailings into the screening plant, and stockpiling that product. Being a small site you need to be able to work unsupervised, be reliable, trustworthy and show initiative and common sense.

Site is small and the camp is basic, you must bring & prepare your own meals, an allowance for which is reflected in the hourly pay rate.

Roster is flexible, as long as there is always a stockpile of product for the road train drivers to load from. Eg Mon-Fri, 10/4 or 2/1 could all suit. Shifts are all 12hr days. Pay rate is $55/hr flat rate. 

Applicants must reside in Mt Isa or Cloncurry and have reliable transport to drive themselves in & out for the swing, approx. 2hrs south from Mt Isa one way.

Please ensure you meet the following mandatory criteria to apply:

• Loader RII certificate
• Loader experience, preferably screening & stockpiling
• Car licence
• Be able to provide a clear police check
• Be able to pass medical and D&A screening
