Senior Project ENgineer - Studies

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is an ASX listed (GNG) engineering consulting and contracting organisation providing high quality process engineering design and construction services to the resources and mineral processing industry. We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.

The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our studies team located in Ascot, WA to work cross a number of significant projects. Typically, GRES undertakes approximately 30 studies per year across a broad range of commodities for projects located in Australia and overseas

Your typical day will consist of:

• Prepare conceptual and preliminary designs
• Ensure mechanical engineering work complies with safety, statutory and regulatory requirements
• Perform calculations to size key equipment, pumps, conveyors and tanks
• Liaising with equipment suppliers to obtain technical and pricing inputs to studies

What we are looking for:

• Relevant engineering qualifications and minimum 15 years professional experience in Mechanical engineering
• Demonstrated knowledge in the mineral processing and materials handling fields
• Knowledge of current engineering design and standards
• Ability to design with all relevant disciplines and ensure design coordination of any multi-disciplined activities
