Sunshine Air-Conditioning is a locally owned and operated Perth-based business providing air-conditioning and mechanical services across residential and commercial projects.

We specialise in ducted systems, split systems, evaporative cooling and commercial kitchen ventilation. With a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer service, we’ve built a great team and a strong reputation within the industry.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Trades Assistant to join our team.

About the Role
This is a full-time, hands-on role working alongside our experienced technicians across a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Previous air-conditioning, refrigeration or similar industry experience is preferred, but not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting technicians with air-conditioning installations, servicing and maintenance
- Preparing tools, equipment and materials for jobs
- Assisting with ducted, split-system and evaporative air-conditioning work
- Loading and unloading equipment and materials
- Maintaining vehicle and warehouse stock
- Keeping work sites clean, safe and organised
- General assistance to technicians as required

What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team player who takes initiative
- Previous air-conditioning, refrigeration or similar trade experience is preferred, but not essential
- Comfortable with hands-on and physical work
- Current driver’s licence - essential
- Current White Card - essential
