This is a full-time position located at the dnata catering & retail facility in Coolangatta. For the right candidate, we are open to a Brisbane-based arrangement, with regular travel to Coolangatta 1-2 days per week.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our retail partner Jetstar team, supporting reporting, analytics and business intelligence across our inflight retail operations.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, Jetstar, this role is ideal for a commercially minded analyst with a strong finance background and technical reporting expertise. You will deliver insights that support business performance, profitability and strategic decision-making.

Working closely with Finance and operational stakeholders, you will enhance reporting capability, drive data-informed decisions and identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and enhance commercial reporting, dashboards and management reporting to support business performance.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and insights that drive informed decision-making.
• Support P&L analysis, profitability reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Build and maintain KPI frameworks, reporting standards and governance processes to ensure trusted data outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data quality and strengthen analytics capability.
• Partner with Finance, Operations and key stakeholders to deliver business analysis, process improvements and reporting solutions that create value.

About you:

• Experience in a Commercial Finance, FP&A or Financial Analyst role is highly preferred.
• Experience with P&L reporting, budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence or business analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, SQL or other reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to partner with Finance and operational stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.
• Relevant qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business, Analytics or a related discipline.
• Experience in aviation, retail, food manufacturing or operational environments is advantageous.
