Yard Hand - Service Support

A fantastic opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join one of Australia's leading material handling and access equipment companies! We are a family-owned and operated forklift and access equipment hire company based in Rydalemere , NSW. Due to strong growth, a full-time position has become available in our service department to support our Dispatch Coordinator in the day-to-day operations.

The Role:

Working closely with the Service and Transport departments this position is responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the yard activities and ensuring all administrative and operational support tasks are completed with accuracy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and detailing Equipment

• Moving equipment into allocated locations

• Monitoring Transport deliveries and collections

• General workshop duties

• Processing equipment hire paperwork and pre-hire checklists

• Preparing and reviewing documentation for dispatch and returns

• Work safely and promote safety in the workplace
  

The Right Person for the Role:

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a dispatch / yard coordination role

• Forklift license and yellow ticket preferred but not mandatory

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• The ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to learn internal systems

• Experience with mechanical or hire equipment industries (preferred but not essential)

• Current and valid NSW Driver’s Licence and be able to drive manual vehicle
