About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information and Support Services Officer with Blue Mountains Library. This key position works collaboratively within a small and motivated team to deliver centralised, customer focused information and support services to all Library branches within the Blue Mountains. The role includes:
· Administration of the day-to-day operation of the Library Management System and integrated technologies, including the library website
· Production of statistical and other specialised reports
· Cataloguing of library materials
· Coordinating the Library procedure manual (SharePoint)
· training of Library staff
· Circulation desk shifts as required
We are looking for qualified applicants who are customer service focused, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy problem solving. You will have experience with information management systems and technology, with the ability to identify priorities and provide effective support to staff and customers.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $79,483 gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ annual performance-based salary increases / bonus (1-3.5%)
+ annual award increase
