About the role
FreshFood manufactures and markets some of the finest coffees and beverage dispensing systems in Australia.
An opportunity exists for a QA Coordinator to join our QA team, based in Concord. This position would be suitable for a new or recent graduate. Your primary responsibilities include:
· Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including GMP, SQF, HACCP, and Rainforest Alliance requirements.
· Manage quality systems, including customer complaints, documentation, SOPs, supplier records, and certification programs.
· Conduct quality inspections, audits, and product verification activities to maintain food safety and quality throughout production.
· Implement and support food safety and WHS/OHS programs, including employee training and awareness initiatives.
· Provide technical support to the Sales, Marketing, and Production teams as required.
· Coordinate the company calibration program to ensure the effective operation of laboratory and production equipment.
· Support sustainability and certification activities, including Rainforest Alliance compliance requirements.
· Provide backup support to the Technical Services Manager.
In-house training will be provided in Internal Auditing and HACCP
This role will suit an enthusiastic self-starter with:
Ø Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline.
Ø An understanding of food safety programs, quality systems, and the Food Standards Code.
Ø Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems would be highly regarded.
Ø Excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
