Teacher - Electrical Supply Industry (Linesperson/Cable Joiner)

The Opportunity:

• Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment
• TL $90,879 - $128,887 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience) + a $12,000 Environmental Allowance annually.
• Drummond Street Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport

About the role:

We’re looking for experienced tradies from the Electrical Supply Industry Lineswork/Cable Joiner field ready to step into training in a modern, well-equipped environment.

You’ll teach apprentices and industry workers in:

• Overhead lineswork
• High voltage operations
• Switching
• Live line work
• Network safety procedures

What you’ll need:

• Relevant UET trade qualification
• Teaching qualification — Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) / TAE40116 / TAE40110
• Current industry licences/tickets
• Significant experience in the Electrical Supply Industry
• Experience as a Linesperson / High Voltage Operator / Live Line Worker
• WWCC and Police Check: Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
