About the role

This is a newly created role and the only marketing seat on Tyremax's Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Merchandising Officer and based in Thomastown, Vic. The ANZ Head of Marketing will build the brand, digital, data and creative capability to turn Tyremax's growth ambition into market results across Australia and New Zealand.

You'll lead and develop the ANZ marketing team and shape how the function is set up to deliver – one ANZ strategy, activated with real relevance in each market. It's a genuine build mandate: lift digital, data and loyalty capability, set a single ANZ brand and measurement standard, and shape what comes next.

What you'll do

• Own the ANZ marketing strategy – one plan, activated with country relevance across AU and NZ.
• Lead brand governance and stewardship across a multi-brand portfolio, including driving private brand growth with Category and Sourcing.
• Co-own the promotional architecture and calendar with Category and Sales, and lead trade promotion and sales support across both markets.
• Build creative, content, digital and media capability to a consistent ANZ standard.
• Grow demand through owned digital channels and value-added services and own the search and discovery agenda as buyer behaviour shifts toward AI-driven search.
• Own the marketing data, insight, AI and measurement agenda, setting one ANZ standard used consistently across both markets.
• Build senior marketing partnerships with major national accounts and brand principals.
• Lead, coach and develop the ANZ marketing team, and manage the marketing budget and agency relationships to a clear return on investment.

About you

You're a commercially-minded marketing leader who has built brands and demand through a dealer or reseller channel – equally comfortable with brand and performance, hands-on in a lean team, and able to hold your own commercially at the leadership table.

• Background in B2B wholesale/distribution marketing, automotive aftermarket, tyres, parts or an adjacent industrial, electrical, building products or agricultural distribution category – or FMCG/franchise-dealer marketing with trade and channel experience.
• Marketed through a channel (dealers/resellers) to end-consumers, not direct-to-consumer only, with brand and performance breadth across a multi-brand portfolio.
• Excellent commercial acumen – comfortable owning a budget and demonstrating return on marketing investment.
• Credible in digital, data and AI – able to set direction and hold specialists to account.
• Proven change leadership – has built or reshaped a marketing function, ideally across more than one market.
• Strong senior stakeholder management, with a 'selling' instinct for national accounts and supplier partnerships.
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business (or equivalent experience), with extensive senior marketing leadership including leading teams.
