About the role

We are seeking  experienced  HC Truck  Operator to  join our team in the Mackay region for driving Portable Water truck.

This is a fulltime position.  Immediate start for the successful applicant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a water truck, carrying out water carting duties and supporting our operations across the Mackay region.

Key Responsibilities

·         Safely operate and maintain a water truck.

·         Carry out water carting duties.

·         Deliver water safely and efficiently to required locations.

·         Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance requirements.

·         Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.

·         Comply with health and safety policies and procedures.

·         Follow verbal and written instructions and company procedures.

·         Work effectively as part of a team.

·         Demonstrate the ability to work independently and unsupervised.

·         Provide professional and reliable service to customers and the wider team.

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will have:

·         Current and valid HC driver's licence.

·         Previous water truck or similar heavy vehicle experience.

·         Experience in the transport, civil or construction industry is preferred.

·         A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

·         A professional work ethic and reliable attitude.

·         Excellent communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.

·         Current White Card is preferred.

·         Familiarity with the Mackay region would be an advantage, but is not essential.

·         Ability to pass a driver medical, if required.
