About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Darwin Precontracts team. For the right candidate, we are also open to appointing a Senior Estimator.

Working closely with the Estimating Manager and broader team, you'll play a key role in preparing competitive tenders across a diverse portfolio of Defence, Government and commercial projects throughout the Northern Territory.

What You'll Do

• Prepare building measurements and quantity take-offs.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing enquiries.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and pricing submissions.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender pricing.
• Assist with tender submissions and supporting documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers, construction teams and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
• Support successful project handovers following tender award.

What You'll Bring

Ideally, you will bring experience in some or all of the following:

• Estimating commercial building projects.
• Defence project experience.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills.
• Experience with Expert Estimation or similar estimating software.
• Experience using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar programming software is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
