Catering Assistant for Pastry Department – Casual

Elizabeth Andrews Catering is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our pastry team. This is an entry-level role, perfect for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Both role plays a pivotal role in supporting the team to meet production goals and deliver outstanding products to clients.

Hours:

5AM start weekdays only (Casual | 28-32 hours/week)

Location: Elizabeth Andrews Catering - West Melbourne

About the Role:

• Morning focus: Pack and prepare pastry orders accurately and on time to meet client specifications.

• After packing: Assist the pastry team with basic preparation and finishing tasks as required.

• Support a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and high product quality.

• Assist in the daily production of bakery and pastry items to meet catering orders and demand.

• Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards.
