Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs)

About the role

Cherubs Academy is seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs) to join our dynamic team in Logan Central, Queensland. As an ECT, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experience of our young students. What you'll be doing

1. Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that foster the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children in the Kindergarten room.

2. Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and aligning curriculum to support the individual needs and interests of each child

3. Maintaining accurate records, observations, and assessments to monitor children's progress and inform future planning and transitions for school the following year.

4. Collaborating with families to build strong partnerships and support the holistic development of each child

5. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the centre's policies, procedures, and educational programs

6. Actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification

2. Registration as an Early Childhood Teacher with the Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)

3. Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences for children.

4. Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and its application in an early childhood setting

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous improvement

7. A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their overall development
