Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Senior Events Manager to join our team at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). As Senior Events Manager, you'll lead a team of Event Managers, build strong client relationships, and drive exceptional guest experiences while identifying opportunities to grow revenue and maximise event success. You will plan and deliver corporate and special events at one of the world's most recognised sporting and entertainment venues.

What will you do?

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Event Managers to deliver outstanding corporate and special events from planning through to executionDrive revenue growth by identifying opportunities to enhance event experiences and maximise venue utilisationBuild trusted relationships with clients, venue partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersProvide strategic event direction, ensuring events are commercially successful and aligned with client objectivesOwn event budgets, forecasting, reporting, and financial performanceFoster a collaborative, high-performance culture

More About You

Extensive experience in event management across a range of event types and sizesDemonstrated experience leading and developing teams, with clear and confident communication abilitiesProven success delivering high-profile events and exceptional guest experiencesStrong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, revenue opportunities, and business performanceExcellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, guide, and build lasting client relationshipsHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with event management software such as Momentus/Ungerboeck or similar will be highly regardedHospitality, events, marketing, or related tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
