Spare Parts Interpreter

Blue Diamond is a leading industrial equipment supplier specializing in Generators and Air Compressors and other industrial equipment.

Based out of our Brisbane operation in Kewdale, we are looking for a motivated Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team and grow along with our company. 

This role also offers a Commission incentive.

Primary Duties will be:

• Actively promote, source, sell and supply parts to our valued customers.

• Using specialist knowledge, interpret customer (both internal and external) parts requirements via phone, email and counter.

• Offer prompt, effective and friendly customer service to increase customer satisfaction.

• Order parts from suppliers, preparing and processing documents such as purchase orders, invoices and inventory documents.

• Assist with parts warehousing, which includes stock take activities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in and around the work environment.

The suitable applicant will have:

• Strong mechanical aptitude 

• Experience in similar role within related industry (small engines, generators, lighting towers, air compressors)

• A current forklift ticket license (preferred).

• A positive can-do attitude and be a team player.

• Good time management and task prioritisation skills.

• The ability to work both autonomously and be part of a team.

• Hard working and willingness to work additional hours to ensure jobs are completed on time.

• Strong focus on general safety standards and work methods.
