Gifted and Talented Individual Needs Teacher

Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools.  With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes. 

Applications are invited from Gifted and Talented Individual Needs Teachers for a permanent part-time (0.5 FTE) position. Commencing at the beginning of the 2027 School year this position is based at our Glen Waverley campus. Individual Needs teachers seek to optimise the learning outcomes for students with additional learning needs. 

The successful applicant will have well established skills in both Maths and English. Required post graduate qualifications in Gifted and Talented Education or must be willing to obtain this qualification once successful. This position will work with our gifted student programs in both Maths and English for Years 7-10 students.
