About the role

As a Lymphatic Drainage Massage Therapist, you will:

• Provide professional lymphatic drainage massage treatments within your scope of training and experience
• Conduct client consultations and identify appropriate treatment approaches
• Adapt treatments to individual client needs
• Provide appropriate post-treatment and self-care advice (including rebooking)
• Maintain accurate client treatment notes
• Communicate professionally with clients and maintain a high standard of client care

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

• Formal training/certification in lymphatic drainage massage
• Practical experience providing lymphatic drainage treatments
• Strong understanding of lymphatic anatomy and physiology
• Good knowledge of contraindications and situations requiring medical referral
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional, caring and client-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional indemnity/public liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it
• Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain it
• Appropriate Australian work rights

Experience with post-operative lymphatic drainage is highly desirable.

Experience with other massage modalities, including remedial, relaxation or deep tissue, is also welcomed.
