About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join the kitchen team at Burger Road.

The Chef will be responsible for planning menus, preparing and cooking food, monitoring the quality and presentation of dishes, and ensuring adequate food supplies are available for daily operations. The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistent food quality and presentation. The role also requires effective communication with managers and kitchen staff, adherence to food hygiene regulations, and the ability to demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance on preparation procedures.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 1. Plan menus, calculate food and labour costs, and arrange the ordering of required food supplies. 2. Monitor the quality, consistency, and presentation of dishes throughout the preparation and service process.

3. Discuss food preparation and kitchen-related matters with managers, kitchen staff, waiting staff, and other relevant personnel. 4. Demonstrate appropriate cooking techniques and provide guidance on food preparation and cooking procedures. 5. Prepare, cook, and present food in accordance with established recipes and menu standards.

6. Implement and maintain food hygiene and safety procedures in accordance with applicable regulations. 7. Assist with the selection, induction, and training of kitchen staff as required. 8. Store, freeze, and preserve food products using appropriate methods to maintain quality and freshness.

 Qualifications and Experiance:  AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Commercial Cookery, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Kitchen Management, or a related field. Benefits 1. Competitive salary package.
