About the Role

We are seeking caring and reliable Personal Care Workers to join our residential aged care team across permanent full-time, permanent part-time and casual arrangements.

You will provide culturally safe, person-centred care that supports residents’ dignity, independence, wellbeing and connection to family, community, Country and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities

• Support residents’ physical, emotional, social and cultural wellbeing

• Follow care plans and report changes in residents’ needs

• Assist with meals, mobility and maintaining a safe environment

• Maintain accurate care records

• Work with nurses, families and the broader care team

Skills and Experience

• Cert III or above in Individual Support (Aging) or willing to obtain.

•  An understanding of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

• NDIS Yellow card or willing to obtain

• Current Police Check or willing to obtain.

• First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain 

• Current Flu Vaccination or willing to obtain
